Colour B4 Review

 Colour B4 Review

Today I want to talk about is the product called Colour B4. As you all have seen i had  bright red hair and couldn't wait until the red was washed out. I came across Colour B4 in Boots. Colour B4 is a hair colour remover, which is strong enough to lift built up hair colour from your hair along with darkened tones whilst still being gentle to the hair and containing no ammonia or bleach. Colour B4 first hit the high streets in 2009 and has now become the  worlds best selling hair colour remover. It comes in two varieties which are the normal strength for light to mid toned hair and then the extra for dark tones and colour build up. You can pick up Colour B4 for £11.99 from high street shops such as Boots and Superdrug.

Colour B4 shrinks the hair colour molecules that are in your hair so that they can be washed out during the rinsing and buffering stage.
The main thing you will hear people say about Colour B4 is the problem with the smell, but the hair product dosen't work as well if the room is cold. So no matter how bad the smell is i wouldn't open the window.

Although it is recommended to leave it at least a week before applying a permanent dye, (make sure you chose a shade or two lighter than the desired colour) as the hair will be porous for a while from the Colour B4 treatment meaning that it will grab the colour and appear darker.

Thanks for reading, Laura x

  1. Hi! After that you used the B4, what else did you do? Did you use an other blonde permanent hair color? Or this after pic is your final result after B4? Thanks your answer!
