Colour B4 Review

 Colour B4 Review

Today I want to talk about is the product called Colour B4. As you all have seen i had  bright red hair and couldn't wait until the red was washed out. I came across Colour B4 in Boots. Colour B4 is a hair colour remover, which is strong enough to lift built up hair colour from your hair along with darkened tones whilst still being gentle to the hair and containing no ammonia or bleach. Colour B4 first hit the high streets in 2009 and has now become the  worlds best selling hair colour remover. It comes in two varieties which are the normal strength for light to mid toned hair and then the extra for dark tones and colour build up. You can pick up Colour B4 for £11.99 from high street shops such as Boots and Superdrug.

Colour B4 shrinks the hair colour molecules that are in your hair so that they can be washed out during the rinsing and buffering stage.
The main thing you will hear people say about Colour B4 is the problem with the smell, but the hair product dosen't work as well if the room is cold. So no matter how bad the smell is i wouldn't open the window.

Although it is recommended to leave it at least a week before applying a permanent dye, (make sure you chose a shade or two lighter than the desired colour) as the hair will be porous for a while from the Colour B4 treatment meaning that it will grab the colour and appear darker.

TIGI, BED HEAD Shamoo and Conditioner set

Review Urban Antidotes by Tigi Bed Head hair care, resurrection competition set

Recently I've gone bright red to a honey light blonde. My hair stylist recomeded me to the TIGI range. My hair is in very poor condition from all the bleaching and i felt that i needed some good strong products to use in my hair. I felt that after shampooing and putting the conditioner on my hair it felt soft and silky. I found leaving the conditioner on for 5-10 minutes has better results.

The TIGI shampoo i felt only using one pump didn't seem to clean my hair, However if i used 2-3 pumps instead when washing my hair it lathered up more. It felt like it was working better.

The conditioner smells really nice and has a very strong smell. Only down side i have with this product is that your only meant to use a pea side of conditioner in your hair. which i feel is not enough in your hair, so i use the amount i reckon is best for me. Everyone is different. Also when putting the conditioner on your hair its starts to go watery

I do recommend the TIGI products as after using these my hair feels alot better.

F.A.M.E Hair Extensions

F.A.M.E Hair Extensions

I promised i would do a post about my red hair extensions so here we are.
I HATE having my hair short, so looking over Ebay and Amazon i came across F.A.M.E hair extensions (On Amazon). They were the right color for my hair and a good amount of money for a full head of hair.
With in a couple of days they came in the post :D Only problem i had with them is that they was really long and heavy in my hair. Where they was so heavy the clips started to break and come off with in a couple of hours... I was upset with the fact i paid £40 for these and there starting to break.
After ringing up F.A.M.E telling them about my problem they couldn't do anything as i brought them over Amazon and had to send them a email telling them my problem. It seem more hassle then it was worth..

I thought maybe getting them cut into my hair would stop them hurting my head. After paying £20 to get cut in i still had problems with them. They used to get all matted in my hair and when taking them out the hair would fall out.
Ringing back F.A.M.E again telling them i wanted my money back due to being poor quality. They told me they wasn't even real hair and would only last 6 months :(
That's why they wasn't the best... If anyone is looking into buying hair extensions over the internet please be careful as some sellers don't tell you if there real hair or not...

MUA Review

Just thought i would do a quick post about this make-up brand that i came across while being in Superdrug. MUA is Superdrug's own make of make-up with loads of different items ( I will post the link on the bottom of my post for you to see) I have i couple of items of these and think there prefect for my skin, as some make up makes my skin go dry. i haven't had any problem using these so would recommend anyone who has dry skin or get eczema to use this brand on your skin. There great vale of money as many items are just a pound to buy. Brilliant if your on a budget as well.

Go and check them out, MUA in most Superdrug stores

B Red Hair Dye

For my first post to my blog I'm going to be talking about WINE RED HAIR!
Ive been interested dyeing my hair BRIGHT red for a couple of months now. I have been researching over the internet and YouTube for the best product to use. While on YouTube i came across a product called "B Red Highlighting Créme". I already had colored dark brown hair and wanted something that would make it bright with out bleaching my hair.

A girl on YouTube showed how she could turn her dark brown hair to bright red, in just 15 minutes! After watching this i decided i was going to use this for my hair. I ordered my product over Ebay and within a couple of days it come through the post.

I mixed half of B Red with 20% developer (50 ml). When using this product please wear GLOVES as its very messy and will stain! It says you should leave the dye on your hair 15 minutes under medium heat, or 35-40 minutes without heat. I left it on for 15 minutes as it started to burn my scalp. I suffer from Eczema so i didn't want to make that flare up.

I'm very happy with the end result as i came out a bright wine red color. As you can see on my photo at the top of this post.

GOOD POINT FOR USING THIS PRODUCT;

1. Makes your hair bright red with out using bleach

2. Can be used with lower volumes of developer compared to similar products, leaving the hair in great condition. Even 3% developer can produce incredible results!

3. Can leave on for 15 minutes to get great results

BAD POINT FOR USING THIS PRODUCT;

1. Is a very messy product and will stain anything it comes in contact with! including skin, hands, clothes & the bath room. so when using this make sure you don't get it anywhere else your going to have to pay for a new bath room. It's that messy!

2. Can only wash you hair a couple of times a week to keep the color in

3. Leaves your pillows on your bed pink

4. Try NOT to wear any white tops as it will leave your back of your top red from the color

5. The color will run if raining so cover your head to prevent this

Over all i love the fact my hair is now a lovely bright red, i will be doing another post soon about hair extension for this color.
Many thanks, Laura xx
